the focus of all space and all things.
When this is fired, illumination fills
the universe.
SPIRIT BIRD: Purified man sensing
his innate freedom, though still
enfolded in the cycles of life.
SUN: The face of the Great Spirit
allowing us to see the colors of the
day.
WAKAN-TANKA (Behind the Sun):
The infinite, omnipotent, ever-living, ever-gracious Great Spirit, inter-
penetrating, embracing and
superseding creation.
