Recent NAVA Meeting 09/08/18

We had a very good meeting at the Native American Veterans Association this Saturday on 09/08/18.  We had some great speeches about the election that was happening at the Navajo Nation, a project on creating an Native American village, the future powwow which in 8 weeks from now.  Talks were about what is happening with the Veterans Association, the Department of Mental Health, we had talks about the Veterans for Peace, handouts by the Native Orthodox Church, and had a very healthy lunch with fresh fruits and vegetables.  Eat clean and healthy.

KINNI-KINNICK BLENDS

KINNI-KINNICK BLENDS
PRAIRIE PRIDE –

A light sweet blend of tobaccos and herbs from the prairie country.
PLAINS – This mixture is a combination of other fine tobaccos carefully selected and blended.  To increase its aromatic potential, the fine Black Cavendish tobacco is added, plus an important natural ingredient from the Western Plains.
OSAGE HILLS – A mild but outstanding blend of tobaccos enriched with natural herbs and tobaccos.
NORTHWEST COAST – This blend is said by many smokers to give the impression of slightly mentholated tobacco and chocolate taste.  It contains a blend of ten choice American tobaccos, plus many old style ingredients.
CEREMONIAL – This is made from an important form of tobacco, “Cut Plug”.  This is a fine cut, thinly sliced tobacco – some Green River type and a domestic aromatic blender tobacco are used to make these plugs instead of the main type only, which is Burley tobacco.
WOODLANDS – This mixture has some of the uncommon Perique tobacco added for aroma and richness.  No one tobacco has all the good qualities – one may be too strong, another weak, some simply flat tasting.  One which is aromatic may not burn too well unless blended with one which has good burning qualities.
AMERICAN  SPIRIT – These pouches contain good smoke for those people who understand the sacredness of nature’s blessings, use it with respect and awareness.  These pouches contain Bearberry, All Natural Tobacco, Red Willow Bark, Natural Spearmint, and Sweet Sage.
